1) Perpetual was walking along with Dmitri, her black fur lingered in with the male's white coat. She looked at him, questions flooding her minds. It was all she could do but pester him with all her questions. Her head was still sore, and she hadn't noticed the trickling blood that was drying in her fur, which made it spike out oddly. She no longer had such a delicate step, more of a lumbering. She took a deep breath, "Where are we going again?" She asked, frustrated she could not remember anything about this underground city she was now captive in. This question of the city, made her think of the strap around her shoulder, bumping on her back. Now she wondered what was in the box like container. She would ask Dmitri later about it.

2) Chester was laying in the main room of the physicians clinic, the day had been uneventful and the male was somewhat bored with the day. His ruby toned fur looked smooth and silky under the light, his brown eyes watched the door. It was wrong to hope that someone would have to come see him, but, he couldn't help it anyway. The male huffed and lifted his head, looking out the window, and then set it back down on his legs.

3) After the events of earlier today, all Dmitri wanted was to wake up from this nightmare. It had to be a dream, right? Everything was fuzzy, everything hurt... Wait, did you feel pain in dreams? Well, anyway the physical pain was enough to make sure his eyes stayed open. Every time he stepped down with his front left leg, pain shot through his haze. It didn’t help that his shoulder was beginning to sluggishly bleed again. Please just be some horrible nightmare How in the world were they going to live this down? Breaking and entering, building collapse, and now both of them would be unable to work for some time... Just his luck. He would probably be called some sort of hero for pulling her out, but he didn’t feel like one, not in the least. Her voice brought him back to reality as soon as it filtered through. A small cough cleared his throat before he spoke, “Oh, just to the Physicians’ place, love. Got to get my lumpy-bumpies checked, and I think a doc better check out that pretty little head of yours.” He had to pause his speaking to catch his breath before continuing, “Not to worry you, Pet, but I think you might’ve bumped your nob a touch too hard.”

4) Perpetual flickered her ears as she listened, the hit to the head was all that really had hurt her, but it had been so hard she was still shaky. She was doing her best to help him though, lending the strength she had to help him walk. "I don't remember how it happened." She muttered, and she laughed a little, "If I hadn't seen the rumble from that house, I would have to ask if I was some crazy klutz or something." She said and then sighed. "Do you know much about me?" She asked as they walked. The physicians place had come into their eyesight, but of course, Perpetual didn't know this. She had no idea if they still had a long way to go, with her dizziness and weakness, it felt like they had been walking for hours.

5) Chester's long wavy ears picked up the tiniest noise. The small male jumped up and went to the window, he was short, so he had to stand on his hind legs and put his paws on the window sill. Sure enough he could see two dogs coming from a distance. His gold eyes narrowed and he saw they looked to be in less than perfect shape. It was hard to tell, but he was sure they were coming to see him. Chester had never meet either one before, it was strange, he thought he knew everyone. It must have just been odd chance that any other time they had needed medical attention they had come while he was away. The cavalier opened the door and ran out to meet them.

6) “Just in there, someone should be in.” he said softly. As they approached the compound he tried to peer in and catch the attention of a physician. His manner towards them had changed as of late. After a run-in with a rather feisty lass who had put him in his place, he was less than willing to pick a fight with any of them today. Not that he would ever back down from one, ever, but he had other more important things to do. “Hey, anyone there? We need some help out here.” he voiced loudly. His dust-coated throat balked at the effort and let loose a spasm of coughs. He certainly hoped someone was in there, he doubted that he could keep standing for much longer. He took a few more unsteady steps forward before speaking again. “Hello, please is anyone there?” His shoulder had begun to bleed more heavily now, the few drops turning into a sluggish trickle. As it slid down his leg it left red patterns dripping down. He had never been on the other end of his own mask before: it was damn effective. As a small, russet colored dog rushed out he felt himself relax.

7) Perpetual sighed, as the male didn't answer her question. She couldn't be upset though, he was right, the most important thing right now was being looked at and helped. She noticed the small male come out at once. He seemed a little eager, but the look vanished as the dog looked them over, replaced with a calm, but slightly concerned look. "Hello." Perpetual charmed, "We got ourselves a little knocked around." She chirped. Although Perpetual was much more outgoing and less reserved, her voice was still small bells on the air.

8) Chester smiled at the black female's comment, "Well I would agree." He said, a hard english accent covered his words. "Come on, you'll need quite a look at." He answered and went to prop the door open. He came back and walked slowly with them, to assure they could get in alright. His mind was running mad as he thought of the things he would need, and the medicines he would apply. "What would you like taken care of first, we have a long list." He said to them both.

9) With a small smile he nodded at Perpetual’s words. Not really much he could add to that besides specifics. And sadly he was the only one who could fill in the specifics at the moment. With a yawn he remarked “The lady here might’ve cracked her nob a bit too hard. Can’t seem to recall much.” As he let himself gently slouch to the floor, he removed his mask and set it aside. The front of it was splattered with dried blood now. “That’ll be fun to clean off...” he quietly muttered to himself. As the small dog bustled about he felt the need to say something, anything! “I uh... was in here awhile back for a sprained ankle. Didn’t see you around. You new?” he asked a little awkwardly. Speaking of ankle, he had definitely re-stressed the injury.

10) Chester laughed a little, "No, I'm not, it seems just chance has kept us from meeting prior." the male answered. He carried bandages over to the large white male. He inspected the ankle, "Well, if they didn't have you wearing a splint, you need one now." He remarked and put to flat wood boards against the injured leg, wrapping it up tight. "And obviously no work for at least a month and a half. What the bloody hell did you two do?" The ruby colored brute asked in his heavy accent as he went on to Dmitri's shoulder wounds. These were deep and he had to clean them out, and wrapping would be difficult. "You'll be stiff for a while..." he muttered as he had to wrap his whole chest to keep the wounds on the shoulder tightly shut.

11) Then the male turned to Perpetual. She watched him observantly, but not in the same scared tone as before, but a questioningly one. She flinched as he felt her bump, it had swelled a lot. "You are going to have to lay your head on the cold rocks as much as you can." Chester told her, she nodded softly. "What is the last thing you remember?" The male asked. Perpetual huffed, "Waking up." She said honestly. She watched the physician ponder on her answer. "You definitely have amnesia love, I'm, sorry. Other than that you are fine, some headaches for a while. And... there is no way of knowing if you'll remember how you used to be or not." The spaniel seemed gruelingly sorry, and that was the only reason Perpetual got upset, she had not thought of it before, but now her tears welled up. She couldn't answer the little dog in front of her, and her blue eyes directed themselves over to Dmitri.

12) Dmitri winced a little as the male splinted his ankle. He had gotten away with just a wrap last time, but then again he could probably use the extra support this time around. What with his entire chest being wrapped as he was thinking to himself. “It’s a bit of a long story.” he mused to the small physician, “Involves some ceilings and walls ending up not quite where they belong.” He sat down slowly as the other dog began to inspect the female. Pain shot up his back as the bandaging dug into the bruises on his back. “Sweet mother of-” he started to exclaim before quickly stifling himself, “I think when I reach the stiffness stage I’ll be glad to be past the oof shooting pain stage.” He noticed that his pain was going to put a damper on the mood of the room rather quickly, so with a small smile he added “Sorry, having a roof fall on you doesn’t do wonders for my mood.” He ignored the collie’s questioning eyes for the moment. He would try and fill in the cracks for her tomorrow.

13) Chester gave a small chuckle in response to the other male, "Yes, well, I'm not surprised there." he shuffled through some shelves and pulled out some herbs. They were hard to come by, since they had to be grown here in Eden. Had Chester lived in a time before, it would have been easy to help his comrades. "All I can do is give you these, and there are not many I will remind you. They do wonders for pain, but will likely make you tired, so use them with caution." He warned.

14) Perpetual could tell that there session was coming to an end. The collie turned a paw around on the ground before looking at the white brute again. "Um, Dmitri, I don't really remember where I live, and well. Can I stay with you tonight?" She asked awkwardly. She smiled softly, "I promise to stop asking questions for tonight!" She added encouragingly.

15) The shepherd was about to kindly refuse the medicine when the female began to speak. He wasn’t one to use drugs, pretty much ever. He had seen what it did to lessor willed dogs, and he knew that many of them had started out as strong as he. Drug usage could always start innocently, but too often it hooked an edener for good. As he had opened his mouth, the words of the pretty young lass settled upon his withered ears. Ashe registered what she had said, they quickly pricked to attention. Her, stay with him? He shouldn’t have been so surprised, it wasn’t as if she knew where to go. “S-sure, love.” he stammered, “But feel free to ask any questions you need. I’ll try and fill in the holes.” He gave a small nervous chuckle at the end.

16) Chester seemed to notice the uneasy Dmitri felt towards the poppy seeds. He couldn't help but smile, he knew it was a dangerous thing, and so he stored them back away as the two dogs spoke to one another. He turned and swished his long tail, "Well, they are here if it becomes too much for you." He assured. He looked at the two and smiled, "Yes, it is best to gather as much as you can, it could help you bring your memories back lass."

17 )Perpetual was relieved when he agreed. She smiled when he said she could ask him as much as she wanted. The black and white collie stood up and walked over to him, "I'll help you get home, is it far?" She asked and dipped her head under his good shoulder, using it to help push him to his paws. She hoped it wouldn't tickle him or anything. Before they left she turned to the small male, "Thank you, " She said softly and smiled. Only one who had known Perpetual before the accident would know how completely different she was now.

18) Dmitri tried to hide his discomfort as she urged his to  his paws. “It’s not too far, love.” he said softly as he tried standing. The splint would cumbersome and make walking difficult, but the immobilization had helped with the pain. For all her cracked nob, the collie seemed to actually be, well, better than before. Dmitri had noticed that she had been rather quiet and avoidant while he tried to speak to her. Hell, she was actually socializing now. But the shepherd didn’t look too much into, nor give it a second thought. He hung his blood-stained, macabre mask around his neck and was thankful for the layerings of gauze between his flesh and the blades. Like hell he was going to forget the cover for his mask again! As they prepared to leave, Dmitri gave a small nod to the Physician. “Thanks for the patch-job, doc. I owe you one.”

19) Perpetual turned to watch the small male for a moment, Chester winked to her and called after them a reassuring "Its my job" before the two exited the room. Perpetual's blue eyes watched Dmitri carefully. "Oh, this is all my fault isn't it? I'm so sorry." She said as she stayed closed, wanting to aide him as much as possible. Her care for the injured had not escaped her despite the injury to her head. The black and white collie swished her long tail behind her, watching ahead of them. It was hard for her to stay quiet, an exact opposite from her previous demeanor.

20) “No, love, it’s not your fault.” he stated as they left the compound, “It was... this is going to be a bit of a tale.” He sighed softly as they walked. “That was your home that collapsed, sorry. Well, you said that it was your parents’ place. It had been blocked off for some reason, apparently because it was structurally unsound I now realize. I was stupid, I shouldn’t have suggested that we go in. It’s my fault...” he trailed off. It was several moments before he began again. “At least you got your mask before the ceiling came a rumbling down. It threw you for a right turn, it did. Must’ve flown at least five feet when that beam hit you. I uh... stopped anymore damage to your pretty little head. With uh... me.” he added softly. He didn’t want her to worry, or blame it on herself. It was his fault. His ears perked up as they began to get closer to his home. “Not much further, Pet.” It was in the nicer area of Eden, and when they reached eventually reached it, it would be seen that it was of decent size. It had originally belonged to Isa, but after she had become infected it was just Dmitri. Of course he had redecorated (because Dmitri was a lover of fine things) but not much else had changed.

21) "Well you must have pulled me out too." Perpetual said as she remembered waking up outside the fallen residence, which she now knew was her own. It didn't upset her much, I mean, she couldn't remember it anyway. She looked at Dmitri and smiled, "Well I owe you a great deal." She said sternly. "Anything you need, just ask. I could stay a while, take care of you, I mean, it will be hard to do much with, considering." She mentioned, looking at all his bandages. She turned towards where they were coming up to, her ears perked forward. It looked very nice and she wagged her tail a little. "You live here?" She asked and observed the outside of the home.

22) “You don’t owe me anything.” he sighed as they approached his abode. From the outside it still resembled many of Eden’s wood and metal hovels, but he had certainly made sure the inside was homey. “Just this way.” he said softly, nosing the door open for her to allow her to enter first. After he entered the room himself, he hung up his bloodied mask on the weathered, wooden coat rack he had bought. There were only a few spaces on it, two of which were already taken up by a black leather coat that had been fashioned into armor and a  red leather belt cut down to size. “Feel free to hang up your mask.” He remarked as he padded into the main room. The back wall had a bundle of blankets and an odd patched pillow or two. The room itself was small, but cozy, and still let in a dim light. “It’s uh.. been a bit of an adventure today -heh- You can sleep over there.” he said, jerking his muzzle in the direction of the blankets.

With a small nod, he slipped around the curtain hanging midway between the building and went behind. For a brief moment several dazzling spots of light could be seen. Once inside he gently folded himself on  the pile of blankets the he normally slept on. Oh, what a day! He just wanted to nap, but he knew he had to face reality and tell her all that he knew. But how could he? He hardly knew anything about her! And he couldn’t just let her wander around... he would have to take her to the Nursery tomorrow. He wasn’t looking forward to that. The room he was in was fairly empty, besides for a pile of blankets and pillows it is decorated with shards of weathered glass. Primarily they hung from the ceiling, and when the lights of Eden hit them they send dazzling colors throughout the room. As he lay he glanced up and around at the lights: one of the few beautiful sights that Eden held.

23) Perpetual scuffed, "You are being silly, of course I owe you." She remarked to the white male, but the subject was lost as they came upon the ward's home. She looked around, studying all the odds and ends he had, each holding a great deal of beauty in some form. She flicked her tail, and then listened to what he had said. "Mask? Oh, that must be what is in this thing..." She said and slid it off her shoulder. She opened the case out of curiosity and gasped, it was very nice. Made of dark strong leather, jewels were fixed in above the rose colored glass fixings for eyes. The blue gems also ran along the muzzle on both sides, and there were long silky feathers sprouting from the top of it. She silently wondered why they needed masked, but she would wait until the morning to ask him about it. Silently she hung up her mask on the rack and watched him leave into the other room. Perpetual stayed up for some time, cleaning her fur until it was spotless and gleamed cleanly again as she was sure she would normally do. She couldn't remember, but she thought she was most likely a clean type of person.

The black and white collie had curled up where he had instructed her to, but no sleep came to the questioning girl. She sighed and layed her head on one of her white legs, starring around the house. It had been hours, she was sure Dmitri was asleep. Perpetual got up quietly and walked over to the room he was in. She peeked in with her soft blue eyes and held in a gasp, see, in Eden the lights were always on, and so even though the room as dark enough to sleep in, light still filtered in through the windows, and they were catching the stained glass. It was a beautiful sight and the collie stood there for some time observing them. She looked to Dmitri, who was sleeping. Perpetual was now tired looking at the sleeping white male. She walked over on silent, delicate paws, and curled up next to him. It wasn't too close, not enough to crowd him or anything. Just close enough that when she took deep breaths in her side brushed his, and her fluffy tail laid across his back leg mindlessly. She was asleep in no time.

24) Watching the sparkles above him dance always helped him drift off. He had put them up for Isadora the morning of that last convoy mission together. He heaved a heavy sigh and laid his head on his paws. She had never gotten to see them... As his eyes misted over he closed them tightly to try and block out the lights. This was the home they never had, the future they would never cherish. No more Isa, no more love...

"No love, just hold on, you can make it through the night. Please, Isa, just hold on a little longer."

"Don't leave me Dmitri..."</i>

The male cringed in his sleep uneasily. The nights were long and cold for Dmitri, and filled with fright. She wove through his dreams like the ghost of memories past. Only she was not a ghost, she was still alive and he full well knew that. Through his dreams she swept, and through the wastes she fled. Always out of reach, always beyond contact...

“Shhh, it’s okay. It’ll all be okay.”

“Will you stay with me? I don't want to go alone...”</i>

A soft whimper escaped from the sleeping male. There was no longer anyone to hear him, anyone to comfort the ghostly form in the night. Only fleeting memories held close to his heart kept him warm these nights. Memories of friendship, of happiness, of love... These were all beyond his reach now, all beyond the walls of Eden. He could hold up the guise during the day, but once he was alone... The soft footfalls of Perpetual did not wake him, nor did her lying by his side. The days had been rough on him, and now the beaten-down shepherd was sleeping the pain of his troubled days away. The night would pass swiftly but uneasily for Dmitri. Just like every night since Isa’s infection, he was left to face the night terrors. Perhaps it was the heavy bandaging, or perhaps it was the feeling of warmth and comfort that the body of another was providing, but either way Dmitri was rather still throughout the night. Aside from some minor shivering and soft whimpers, unless one payed attention his nightly unease could hardly be noticed.

25) Perpetual had always been a light sleeper, it came from watching the puppies in the nursery. Of course now she couldn't remember that, but it had been etched into her very being, so of course her light blue eyes snapped open in the dim room. What had woken her? What was wrong? Then she heard it again, she looked over to the male beside her. He was having nightmares she assumed from the whimpers she could hardly hear. She squinted her eyes, seeing he was shiver too. The black and white collie stood and walked out of the room, coming back with the blanket she had tried to sleep on in the other room. She threw it across Dmitri, pleased when she didn't wake him. Perpetual circled around, nosing at the blanket near his tail. She got it up enough for her to crawl under. "Well, you might now think I owe you anything, but the least I can do is help you sleep." Her soft bell-like voice whispered into the sleeping shepherd's ear. Perpetual was now laying with her side pressed against his own. She would have laid on top of him, but she knew that would be too painful. She laid her white muzzle down on top of his stretched out leg. She watched his slumbering face for a while, it took some time before the shivering stopped, and he still whined a little, but Perpetual was sure it was getting better. She shut her ears to the darkness as the flashes of colorful lights danced over their sleeping bodies.

Part one of rp ongoing rp between Perpetual and Dmitri.

Part Two: TDe rp Amnesia? Part Two26) How long had he slept for? Who knew. Time was fairly irrelevant here, day, night, didn’t matter inside Eden for him as long as he made it to the Convoy on time. He stretched out his legs, but recoiled as he felt a twinge of pain. The years of wasteland training were catching up on the boy; morning stiffness was setting in. The pressure of another body beside him raised a smile to his lips. Perhaps they would show up a little late today... As Dmitri opened his eyes to the world, realization hit. This was a different time, and Isa wan’t here. But there still was a body next to him...He turned his neck to view the form of Perpetual. Oh...and a blanket? Oh boy, we’re going to have to have a talk. With a soft groan he got to his paws, letting the blanket gently slide off. He hoped that he didn’t wake her as he gently nudged the curtain aside and quietly padded into the other room, well as quietly as he could with a splint on his leg.
27) Perpet

Where it began: TDe rp Smashed1) Through the well-worn streets of Eden the ghostly dog padded. It was later, or was it early? Ugh, who knew anymore! Dmitri had just gotten back from the Decontamination area and it had not been a pleasant visit. The Hawkers had found a bushel of goodies, good for them, bad for the poor saps that had to tag along and make sure they didn’t get their tails bit off. Stupid mutts... With a yawn he headed closer to home. He could probably use a rest right about now, but he was just to antsy to sleep. He had seen her! Or at least, thought it had been her... Anyway, it was enough to have him want to bounce off the walls, sing his heart out, dance in circles! Isa was still alive! Maybe... A sigh escaped his lips as he began to blindly turn a corner. Too many thought were running loops through the poor boy’s mind. Makes my head spin, it does.
2) Perpetual was barely leaving the nursery anymore. She stayed with the puppies constantly, but whether she wanted to or
